MRS. CLAUDE DUNCAN
MANISTIQUE---Mrs. Claude Duncan, 64, of Gould City, died suddenly Thursday at her home. The body is at Messier-Broullire Funeral Home where friends may call after 4 p.m. today. Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the funeral home with Rev. William Brauer of the Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Gould City Cemetery. The former Clara Jane Danielson was born Sept. 24, 1910 in Curlew, Wash. She lived in Germfask for many years before moving to Gould City in 1950. She and her husband formerly owned Duncan's Restaurant - Motel in Gould City. Surviving are her widower, Claude Duncan, whom she married July 7, 1928 in Stanton, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. Steven (Claudine) Fisher of Gould City and Mrs. Frank (Sue) Kuchni of Mount Pleasant; two sisters, Mrs. John (Viola) DeHoff of Ludington and Mrs. Richard (Nina) Lapp of Plains, Mont.; and one grandchild. A brother, Charles Danielson of Grand Rapids died May 5, 1973.
