Mrs. Leah De Priest Speer, 93, of Meridian, died Saturday, May 11, following a long illness. She was a former resident of Lucedale and a retired post office worker.
Graveside services for Mrs. Speer were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 14 at Magnolia Cemetery with Bro. Larry Sawyer officiating. Interment was in Magnolia Cemetery with Fails Funeral Service in charge.
Mrs. Speer is survived by two daughters, Gloria S. Rothenburg of Mobile, Ala., and Peggy S. Raines of Meridian.
