Terrance Ray Brown, 59, of Rocky Springs passed away July 29, 2008 at his residence.
Born January 28, 1949 in Rockland, Tx to Ben and Jessie Oden Brown, he lived in Tyler County most of his life where he worked as a logger. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend to all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Bennie Brown and a son, Terry Brown.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Brown of Rocky Springs; brothers and sisters-in-law, Royce and Lee Brown of Rockland, Steve and Charlotte Brown of Hemphill, Ricky Brown of Rockland, Michael and Amanda Brown of Kirbyville and Paul and Gaynell Brown of Rockland; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie and Danny Brown of Colmesneil and Marla Brown of Vidor; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Debbie Adaway of Rocky Springs, Elmer and Tracy Adaway of Colmesneil, Kenneth and Susan Adaway of Colmesneil and Diane and Shilo Alvarado of Houston; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held July 31, 2008 at 10 a.m. at the Carter Cemetery in Colmesneil with Brother Ben Gibbs officiating.
Serving as pallbearers were Jerry Adaway, Eddie Rawls, Tony Parker, Brian Adaway, Steve Brown, Jr. and Paul Brown.
