Cato Adams.
Cato Adams, colored, died this morning at 3 o'clock at Bartonsville, this county, of general debility, aged 83 years. He is survived by a widow, five daughters and four sons. The funeral will take place on Thursday at 12 o'clock. Service will be held at Jackson chapel. Interment will be made in the graveyard adjoining the church.

The funeral of Cato Adams, colored, took place yesterday at 12 o'clock from Jackson Chapel, Bartonsville Services were conducted by Rev. George T. Pinkney. The pall-bearers were: William Brooks, Levi Ross, John Waters, William Dorsey, Charles Butcher, and Charles Davis. Interment was made at the Institution Cemetery this city. C. C. Carty was the funeral director.
