Ronald E. Cline, 59, died Monday, Dec. 8, 2008, at his home in Scott City.

He was born May 11, 1949, in Oberlin to Hills Clarence and Martha Mary Adams Cline. A resident of Scott City since 1987, when he moved there from Rexford, he was a truck driver.

On May 10, 1980, he married Sharon Lee Goins in Placerville, Calif. She survives and lives in Scott City.

Other survivors include his mother; three sons, Kurt J. Newman of Woodward, Okla., Ron Cline Jr. of Scott City and E. Wayne Sanders of Wichita; two daughters, Ina M. Blue of Holcomb and Laurie A. Black of Highriver, Alberta, Canada; two half sisters, Charlene K. Mowrey of Park and Lori L. Rogers of Colby; two stepbrothers; two stepsisters; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and his stepfather, Max Fringer.

Funeral was at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City. Interment was Scott County Cemetery in Scott City.
