April Mae Jones Piercy, daughter of Richard and Sharon Begley Jones, was born May 12, 1982, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Wednesday, March 16, 2005, from injuries received in an automobile accident near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of twenty-two years, ten months, and four days.
She was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Kenneth P. Begley and Wilford McGuire.
April is survived by her fiancé, David Graver, of Lebanon, Missouri; her son, Dominic Graver, of the home; her mother, Sharon Jones, of Phillipsburg, Missouri; her father, Richard Jones, of Lebanon, Missouri; her adopted father, Guy Piercy, of Lebanon, Missouri; three brothers, Robert Koehler, Jacob Piercy and Justin Piercy, all of Lebanon, Missouri; a step-brother, Jeff Piercy, of Lebanon, Missouri; her maternal grandmother, Margaret McGuire, of Lebanon, Missouri; her paternal grandparents, Roy and Donna Jones, of Falcon, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She lived most of her life in the Lebanon area and attended Conway and Lebanon schools. She had been employed by Cornerstone Subs and Pizza, and the H. D. Lee Company in years past, and for the last two years she had worked as a hostess and server at Applebee's Restaurant in Lebanon. She also helped care for her father, who is an A.L.S. patient.
April had attended Christian Life Fellowship Church in Lebanon.
In her spare time she enjoyed rafting, canoeing, and going on adventures, particularly to California. She also liked barbecue and listening to rock music. Her family was very important to her and she especially loved her son.
April was a loving mother, daughter, fiancée, sister, and granddaughter, and was a caring neighbor and friend. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of her family and many friends.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2005, in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Barnett Cemetery, near Sleeper, Missouri. Visitation will be Friday evening from 7 - 8:30 p.m. under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri.
