Carol A. (Greiner) Joseph, 43, of Monaca, passed away unexpectedly in her home, Friday, December 5, 2008.

Carol was the daughter of Robert E. Greiner of Monaca and the late Norma J. Greiner. She worked in various hospitals around the area, most recently at LifeCare in Bellevue and HealthSouth of Sewickley as a registered nurse. Carol was a loving caregiver that touched the world deeply, both personally and professionally. She is loved and cherished by many and will be truly missed by all whose lives she touched. Carol was never happier than when she was baking and sewing, especially for someone else.

Surviving are her husband, David J. Joseph, formerly of Aliquippa; two sons, Ross A. Berger Jr. and Noah M. Joseph, and a daughter, Elizabeth A. Joseph; her father, Robert E. Greiner; a brother, Tim Greiner of Pittsburgh and his fiancée, Pam Cupic, and a niece, Abigail R. Greiner, also survive. She will be also deeply missed by her in-laws, close friends and co-workers, especially Suellen Dill and Elizabeth Phillis and their families.

Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 1 to 3 and 6 p.m. until the time of service at 8 p.m. in the SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, (724-728-4000). The Reverend Martin J. Galbraith, pastor of the New Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, Economy, will officiate.
