Clinton L. Barrett, 57 Parker Avenue, died in Massena Memorial Hospital at 4:50 Saturday afternoon, March 31, 1962, the day before his 79th birthday.
He had been in good health. Retiring at the Alcoa Plant when he reached age 65, he served as a caretaker at Calvary Cemetery and worked there up until the past year.
Mr. Barrett was born April 1, 1883 in Bombay, a son of Royal and Jane Westurn Barrett. He and Miss Adelaide Tyo, Massena, were married in St. Patrick's Church, Hogansburg, June 18, 1913. They resided on farms in the area until 1929 when they built their home at 57 Parker Avenue.
Surviving are the wife; two daughters, Miss Eileen Barrett, at home, and Mrs. Dominick (Mary) Marquette, Massena; one son, Clinton P. Barrett, at home; one sister, Mrs. Mary Brothers, Massena.
He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a member of the Holy Name Society.
