Alfred H. Witmer died of complications Friday evening at his home in Reistville following an illness of three weeks. He was seventy-seven years old, and a member of the Schaefferstown reformed church. He was a carpenter by trade. Surviving are one daughter, Miss Mary Witmer, of Kansas City, Missouri; and sons, Charles and Harry, of Reistville; Elvin, of Millbach Springs, and Jacob, of Avon. One brother, Michael Witmer, and the following sisters also survive, Mrs. Susan Achey and Mrs. John Lebo, of Reistville, Mrs. Charles Houser, of Schaefferstown, and Mrs. Franey Holtzman, of Fritztown.
