Lucille E. THOMPSON, 81, of 305 W. Poplar St., died at her home at 10:50 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1999.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 19, in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Christopher, with the Rev. Bob SHOOK officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic & Odd Fellows Cemetery, Benton. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. THOMPSON was born on July 6, 1918, in Buckner, the daughter of Omer B. and Ola (FLATT) OVERTURF. She was married to Phillip E. THOMPSON who survives.
She was a housewife and of the Church of Christ faith.
In addition to her husband, Phillip, she is survived by four daughters, Judy CURRY of Buckner, Susan SHOOK of Norris City, Leitha WALKER of Christopher, Peggy PAGE of Macomb; a special sister, Faye BUCKNER of Buckner; eight grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
