He was an associate professor of pharmacology at Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis from 1952 until his retirement in 1966. They then moved to Covington in 1976.
Surviving, besides his wife, are: three children, Edith Pankow, Edwardsville, Illinois, William E. Clark, Normal, Illinois, Donald A. Clark, Covington; two brothers, Ralph C. Clark, Springfield, Missouri, Dr. Glynn Clark, St. Louis; a sister, Mildred Bright, Tempe, Arizona; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joan Clark; a sister, Mary Fewell, Mesa, Arizona; a brother, Eugene Clark, Redding, California.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Main Street, Danville, Illinois, with Pastor Dan Guench officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery, Danville, Illinois. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Shelby Funeral Home, Covington.
