Essie O. Robertson passed away on November 27, 2008 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born August 4, 1911 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Frank and Emma Killion Farrand.

She had three siblings, one brother and three sisters, who have preceded her in death. Essie (and her deceased husband, C.C.) joined First United Methodist Church in March of 1945.

Essie was a member of the First United Methodist Church Choir for 32 years, a member of the Odds and Ends S.S. Class, the Quilters Circle and the Woman's Club of Colorado Springs.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. in the Lehmberg Chapel at the First United Methodist Church, 420 N. Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Private entombment will be at the Shrine of Remembrance. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Television Ministry, First United Methodist Church, 420 N. Nevada, Colorado Springs, CO.
