John W. Parish Sr., 79, passed away Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, at the Panama City Nursing Center after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Mike Thornton officiating. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today, Oct. 13, 2009, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in John's name may be made to the building fund at Northside Baptist Church.
