Henry Clinton Franklin, 74, a native and lifelong resident of Perry-tp, died in his farm home at 9 a.m. Wednesday, of a heart ailment. He had been ill about two months. He was born Nov. 28, 1867.

Surviving are his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Eula Benson, at home; one son, Milo Franklin of Wapakoneta and one grandson, Robert Benson, stationed with the U. S. Army Air Corps in the Panama Canal Zone.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the residence with the Rev. George W. Herr of the Wapakoneta Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount cemetery, north of Waynesfield.
