Her husband died in January 1962. She is surviived by one son, David Carter of Lindale and one sister, Mrs. Polly Baker of Bryan, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home chapel. Mr. J. D. Lancaster, minister of the Central Church of Christ of which she was a member, will officiate. The church choir will present music.
Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Grimes County. Pallbearers will be L. W. Grady, Melvin Wade, Fred Carter, Robert Granberry, Chester Carter and John Emmett Preddy.
