HANCOCK, Carrie K., 92, of Tampa, passed away June 5, 2008. A native of Hartford, Ala., and resident of Tampa since 1953, Mrs. Hancock was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Frederick "Fred" D. Hancock, and was a member of Tampa Primitive Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving family, children; Diane McCaffrey and David Hancock; grandchildren; Michael, Ashley and Courtney; great-grandchild, Caleb; sister, Hazel Myer; and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2008, from the chapel of JGR Funeral Home. Private interment will follow in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Mrs. Carrie K. Hancock. The family will receive friends 10-11 a.m., Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at the chapel of JGR FH.
