MRS FRANK GARDNER ANSWERS FINAL CALL
Three Small Children are Left With a Mother's care by Untimely Death of Estimable Lady

One of the saddest deaths to talk place in the valley since the epidemic of influenza broke out was the death of Leone, the beloved wife of Bishop Franklin Gardner, which occurred in this city at 11:30 last Sunday morning. Mrs Gardner had been ill for about three weeks, the first trouble being influenza.
The death of Mrs Gardner is particularly sad owing to the fact that she leaves three small children, the oldest of which is less than three years of age.
Leone Angelia Rich was born in St. Charles, Idaho, on February 17 1891, being just a little more than 20 years of age at the time of her death. Four years ago she was united in marriage to Franklin R. Gardner of this city to which union were born three children.
Mrs Gardner was a graduate of the Fielding Academy of Paris, and after graduating from that school came to Star Valley and taught in both the grade and district schools of Star Valley. She was always active in church work, and for a time was president of the Mutual.
Aside from a heart-broken husband and three children Mrs Gardner leaves a father, mother, six sisters and three brothers to mourn her loss.
Funeral services were held at the home in this city yesterday afternoon after which interment took place in the city cemetery.
