Becky was born December 1, 1960 in Pomona, California, the daughter of Edward Vaughn Quist and Emma Jean Wilson Quist. She is the second child of 12 (eight boys and four girls), the proud mother of three - Amy Sue Beck Peacock, Michael Dylan Beck, and Brittney Kristen Beck Guzman, and the loving grandmother of four - Wyatt, Sarah, Savannah and Brooklyn.
She is survived by all of these with their spouses, by her two dear friends, the father and step-father of her children, David Lee Beck of Maine, and Jake Jacobson of Salt Lake City, and by 43 nieces and nephews - each one loving her with all of their heart.
Becky grew up between Seattle, Washington, where she was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on December 6, 1968 and Mapleton, Utah, where she attended Springville High School. In 1979, Becky started her family - her greatest love. Every hobby and every interest Becky ever had were dedicated to her loved ones in the most unselfish and accepting way any of us has ever known. She has been and will be remembered by us for her selfless giving, her arms opened in unconditional love, her absence of judgment with absolute acceptance, and a smile that warmed the coldest days and the darkest hours.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Canyon Crest Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 2982 East 1660 South in Spanish Fork, Utah.
