Annis C. Raney Wethington, 74 Shelbyville, died May 27, 2003. She was born Nov 18, 1928 in Somerset, KY to Othar and Sarah Bullock Raney. She and her husband Levi F Wethington, who survives, owned and operated six Kentucky Fried Chicken outlets. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, of which she was a member, 27 W Broadway St, Shelbyville, IN 46176. Services will be held at 11 a.m. May 29. Burial; Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood. Other survivors: son Norman "Pete" Wethington; daughters Mary Ann Wethington, Elizabeth "Liz" Ross; sisters Yvonne Schrum, Carol Yadon; brothers, Cressell, Marshall, James Raney; grandchildren Jason Cory Hignite, Tristan Wethington Ross, Jesica Ann, Noah Levi, Nolan Lee Wethington; great-granddaughter Rachel Kathlene Hignite.
