William married: Minerva Winifred Sizemore (Winnie) in Sept 1799 in Perry County, KY. I have listed the eight children I have found: Rebecca d. Sept,1855 m.William Blevins Asher, William d. 1890 m. Sarah Sally Baker, Edward (Ned) b. 1804 d. April 12 1863 Ned was said to have been hung by rebels for being a union man at Cutshin Creek. Russell b. 1809 m. Elizabeth Roberts, son Pleasant b. 1810 d. Oct 6, 1860 m. Ann York Mahala (Halie) b. Sept 11, 1811 d. Sept 24, 1881 m. John H. Huff, Ann b. 1812 d. April 1853 m. Jackson Roberts, Williams Parents are listed as Henry Begley,and Elizabeth Pearsall, He was one of the First settlers of Leslie County 1808 age 37 yrs, Aug 06 1810 has him living in Clay County,with 11 including himself, He was the Justice of the Peace for Perry County, bet 1824-1829 William Made his Will on April 24th 1852, His named Heirs were, Edward-1798, Hiram-1792, Pleasant-1810, and William Jr, A lot of Dates are in Question if you know correct dates that have a source let me know Ill Change it Some of my information was gotten from the book called " The Rugged Trails of Appalacia" Pg. 66, Please contact me with any new info on the family.
