Wm. Herring Dies of Formaldehyde Poison
William Herring, 56, farm resident the Red Oak Grove community, died Saturday, death due to poison of formaldehyde.
William Lloyd Herring was a son of Albert and Rachel Herring. He was born the 29th day of November, 1882, in Red Oak township, where he passed his entire life with the exception of eight years which were spent in the Dakotas. Mr. Herring's death occurred May 14th, thus ending his journey of 55 years, 6 months and 15 days. He leaves to mourn his passing the relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Red Oak Grove church, the Rev. B. F. Gruessing, pastor, in charge. Interment was in the Red Oak cemetery.
