Johan Anders Larson was born in Jung, Vastergotland, Sweden Oct. 14, 1844, and died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Aug. Lindberg, four miles southeast of Osage City, July 9, 1918 at the age of 73 years, 8 months, and 25 days.

He came to Osage City from Sweden, Aug. 1, 1906 and has since made his home with his daughter.

He leaves to mourn his loss seven children, Frank L. Johnson of Blandinsville, Ill., Mrs. A. E. Lindburg, Carl and Richard Johnson all of Osage City, Mrs. J.S. Thy r and Mrs. W. McCloskey of Kansas City, Mo. and Mrs. G. A. Anderson of Slater, Mo., also nineteen grandchildren and three sisters.

The funeral was held Friday, July 12 from the Swedish Lutheran Church with Rev. Sandstedt of Kansas City, Mo. officiating.

Interment was made in the Swedish Cemetery.
