Husband of Mildred A. Hukof Vaughan.

John, who resided at 207 West Van Buren Avenue, New Castle, Delaware, served as a Corporal with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

He was killed in the line of duty in an airplane crash on the Isle of Skye during the war.

He had served in the Air Corps for eleven months at the time of his death.
