We sadly announce the passing of our beautiful son and brother, Cameron Clark, who died unexpectedly on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008.

Cameron was a cherished boy who was loved by all who knew him. Cameron was active and adventurous. He could be found flying down bike jumps in the hills with his buddies, paddling into 10-foot surf with his dad and generally pushing the boundaries of his body and nature. Cameron was always looking for the next thrill. He liked biking, boxing, drumming, hiking, surfing, swimming and hanging with his friends and family at the beach house — one of his favorite places in the world. He had an amazing sense of humor, a logical and rational mind and a big heart.

Cameron was born on Aug. 20, 1991, in Los Angeles, Calif., and lived in Santa Monica for eight years. In 1999, he moved with his family to Ventura, where he attended Loma Vista Elementary, Cabrillo Middle School and Ventura High School. Cameron worked at The Grill on the Pier and also did volunteer work through Ventura High School.

Cameron is survived by his mom and dad, Brent and Kay. He was cherished and looked up to by his sisters, Catherine and Isabelle. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Dodie Carr and Valerie Clark of Ventura; his aunts and uncles, Rand and Terry Ketchpaw of Oxnard, Sandra and Michael Nevin of Danville, Jim and Susan Clark of Abilene, Texas, Peter and Tracey Clark of London, UK, Lisamarie and Dave Arnold of Whitefish Bay, Wis., and Robin and Dale Murray of Aptos; and many loving cousins and friends.

Please join the family for services at Our Lady of Assumption Church on Monday, Dec. 8, 2008, at 3:30 p.m.

Cameron has been entrusted to the care of the family-owned Joseph Reardon Funeral Home, 757 E. Main St.
