Mrs. Janette Norris Davis, age 88, of Panama City, died Sunday, May 16, 2010, at a local nursing home.
She was born in Westville, Fla., and lived in Panama City since the early 1930's.
She is survived by two sons: Tom Davis and wife Virginia, and Randy Davis and life-partner Debbie; two daughters: Janell Parnell and husband Emmett, Norma Givens and husband Dean; two brothers: O.C. Norris and Durell Norris; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard R. Davis; her parents, W.O. and Teretha Norris; brother, Walt Norris; and sister, Wynelle Mabry.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Asked to serve as pallbearers are her nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at Heritage Funeral Home.
