Born in Birmingham, AL she was the daughter of the late Gabriel Lucian and Mary Annie Robertson Colosia.
Mrs. Wooten was a homemaker and a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church where she was involved with church care and was a Sunday School teacher.
Surviving are her sons, Robert E. "Gene" Wooten, Jr. of Easley, William "Glen" Wooten of Cornelius, NC, "Gary" L. Wooten of Greer, and Gregory R. "Greg" Wooten of Laurens; daughters, Dorothy Virginia "Ginger" Hughes of Gray Court and Donna W. Faulkner of Pomaria; brothers, Milton Colosia of Hixon, TN and Gabriel Colosia of Camden, TN; sisters, Mary Ruth DeRochemont of W. Palm, FL, Grace Hales and Mildred Reed both of Harrison, TN; fourteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
Mass of the Resurrection will be 11:00 am, Friday, December 5, 2008, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church conducted by Father Abdenago Vargas with burial at Westview Memorial Park.
