Abstract--age 75, of Aurora, died Feb. 22, 2000, at Monongalia General Hospital. He was a high school sports coach, who took three teams to the W.V. state basketball tournament. He was born Feb. 28, 1924, in Keyser, s/o the late Jesse Cook Adams and Mary Thelma Teets. He was a retired school teacher after 27 years, and a WW II veteran. He is survived by his wife, Doris Eugina Sanders Adams; four sons, Jack Eugene Adams and James Daniel Adams, both of Aurora, and Charles Raymond Adams and Lawrence Patrick Adams, both of Oakland, Md.; two daughters, Judith Ann Paugh and Doris Jane Tichnell, both of Aurora; a brother, Thomas dams, of Aurora; a sister, Peggy Hauser, of Aurora. He was preceded in death by a brother, James, and a sister, Sally Torno. Burial was in the Aurora Cemetery.
