W. H. Anger Taken By Death; Rites Monday
William H. Anger, 84, a widely-known retired plumbing and electrical appliance dealer, familiarly known among friends and business acquaintances as W. H. Anger, and a resident of Telegraph Hill, died yesterday evening at 6:40 in King's Daughters Hospital after a long illness.
For 64 years and until time of his retirement he operated the Main street business bearing the family name that was founded by his grandfather 130 years ago. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church and the Holy Name Society.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Laura Bilz Anger, and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Louise Hunger. He is survived by four sons, William, Jr., Andrew, Herman and Robert Anger, Sr., all of Madison; also eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A Requiem High Mass will be celebrated Monday at 9 a.m. in St. Mary's church and burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery. A Rosary service will be held Sunday at 7 p.m at the Vail Memorial. Friends may call at the Memorial after 6 p.m. Saturday and until time for the church Mass.
