Mabel N. Burns, 77, Roberts, died Monday, at Gibson Community Hospital, Gibson City. Her funeral will be Thursday at Congregational Christian Church, the Rev. James Litteral officiating; burial will be in Melvin Cemetery. Mrs. Burns was born 2-7-1904 at Roberts, a daughter of Andrew and Minnie Zebarth Bristle. She married Charles S. Burns 8-8-1925, in Pontiac; he survivies.
Also surviving are a son, Harold of Melvin, a daughter, Dorothy Lyons, Normal; three grandchildren,; a sister, Alta Suntken, Bloomington, and two brothers, John of Angola, Indiana and Raymond of Roberts. A brother, two sisters, and a granddaughter preceded her in death.
