Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Laurel Branch Baptist church for Mrs. Sallie Burton, 56, of Briceville, who died Friday, Sept. 12, at Scott Hospital in Lake City. Interment was in Circle Cemetery after the rites conducted by the Rev. Onzie Duggar.
Mrs. Burton is survived by one son, Gaynes of Morley; and a sister, Mrs. Rose Turner of Knoxville.
Martin of Lake City was in charge of arrangements.
