 KREYE--Wednesday rites for Elsie Kreye
    A former Columbus resident, Miss Elsie A. Kreye of Omaha, died Sunday at Genoa West Haven. She was 88.
    Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. A. H. Guettler at 2 p.m, Wednesday at Gass Funeral chapel. Burial will be in Christ Lutheran cemetery. The body will lie in state at the funeral home after 1:30 Tuesday.
    Daughter of the late Arend & Marie Wichman Kreye, she was born April 22, 1880 in Bismark township, Platte county. She was baptized and confirmed by Rev. A. Fischer at Christ Lutheran church, and attended District 15 and Christ Lutheran schools.
    After leaving the farm, she worked as a seamstress in Columbus for some years, moving to Omaha in 1925.
    Surviving are one sister, Pauline Kreye of Columbus, several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by a brother, Adolph of Columbus; two sisters, Mrs. August Barjenbruch of Leigh and Mrs. Ed Hollman of Columbus; also two brothers and one sister in infancy.
