DOUGLAS E. TEMPLE Douglas E. Temple, II, Emerson, died Wednesday at an Omaha hospital after an illness of almost two and a half years. The Emerson boy, who suffered from what doctors termed measles encephalitis, became ill in April of 1969, and had been in a coma since that time. During the period of his illness, he was hospitalized in Omaha. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Emerson. The Rev. Alfred Hoesing will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at Emerson. Pallbearers will be Jim Oligmueller, Rick Oligmueller, Bill Prinz, Perry Henderson, John Starzyl and Mike Mendlik, all cousins or school mends of Douglas. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday at the Kempf- Munderloh Funeral Home at Emerson. I Douglas was born Aug. 5, 1959, in Omaha and had lived in Emerson all his life until hospitalized in 1969. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Mike McTaggart, of Emerson; his father, Edward J. Temple of Sioux City; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Oligmueller of Beemer, Neb., and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward L. Temple of Goodland, Kan. Sioux
