Joseph H. LaForce, 49, Mein Road, died at 1:15 a.m. Sunday, July 15, 1973 in Massena Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient for two days.
Mr. LaForce is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elma Brainard LaForce, his mother; five sons; nine daughters. Also surviving are one brother, four sisters and five grandchildren.
Mr. LaForce was born July 4, 1924 at Three Rivers, Quebec, a son of Edward and Marguerite Allard LaForce. He attended schools there and served in World War II. For many years he was employed as a crane operator in the pot rooms of Massena Operations, Alcoa.
He married Mildred L. Terry, Massena, April 26, 1947. She died July 12, 1953. He and Elma Brainard were married November 13, 1954.
