A native of Bacon County, Ga., she moved to Interlachen 23 years ago from Jacksonville. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Interlachen. She was a retired retail jewelry sales associate.
She is survived by her husband, Lester C. Caldwell of Interlachen; daughter, Norma Mercedes Crosby Williams of Jacksonville; son, Twyman Eugene Johnson of Jacksonville; sister, Cleo Alida Carter of Sanford; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Masters Funeral Home in Interlachen with Rev. Jim Roberson officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd 10 Jun 1996.)
