FALL BRANCH -- Jerry A. Ketron, 61, of Fall Branch, died Sunday evening at James H. Quillen Veteran Affairs Medical Center.

He was born in Kingsport and had lived most of his life in Fall Branch.

Mr. Ketron was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Survivors include one son: Jerry Ketron Jr. of Fall Branch; two grandchildren: McKenzie Alise Ketron and Chloe Noel Ketron; one brother: Marce Ketron Jr. and his wife, Velma, of Kingsport; several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew: Josh M. Ketron; and special friend, Elaine Ketron.

He was a son of the late Eloise and Marce Ketron Sr., and was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Lou Burleson; and a brother, Don Lady.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes in Fall Branch.

The funeral service will follow visitation at 8 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. Pastor J.W. Depew and E.B. Moore will officiate.

A committal service will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning in Lovelace Baptist Church Cemetery.
