Sonia Elizabeth Elliott, was a blessing given to us from God on September 24, 2008 and called home early Tuesday morning, December 2, 2008.
Her days with us were brief but she stayed just long enough to teach us about selfless and unconditional love.
Sonia is survived by her loving parents, Rebecca E. Baker and Eric J. Elliott. Her maternal grandparents Gerald Baker, Sr., Marie Baker-Roach and David Roach; paternal grandparents, Cynthia Elliott and Eric W. Elliott; aunts, Brandi Roach, Ashley Elliott and Tiffany Hill; uncles, Trey Vaughan, Gerald Baker, Jr., Ryan Brown, and Allen Roach; great grandparents Gerald and Dorothy Thomas, Josephine Elliott, Karen Roach, Charles Elliott and Helen Gilreath; and second great grandmothers, Mildred Samuels and Dorothy Smith, as well as a host of relatives and dear friends.
The family received friends Friday, December 5, 2008 from 6pm to 8pm, Nelsen Funeral Home 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, where services were held Saturday, December 6, 2008, at 2pm. Interment Washington Memorial Park, Sandston, VA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Children's Hospital, Richmond, VA.
