Joe Henry Cowey, age 59, of Conroe, Texas, died Oct. 21, 2006. He was born in Nixon on December 26, 1946 to the late Charles William Cowey, Sr. and Ruby Herring Cowey and has worked at Crown Cork & Seal since 1988. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, William Joseph "Billy Joe" Cowey. Joe is survived by a son, John Cowey & wife, Catherine, of Seguin; a daughter, Kathleen Figge & husband, Carl, of Conroe; a sister, Margret "Sherry" Pfeil & husband, Neil, of Nixon; a brother, Charles W. Cowey, Jr., & wife, Barbara, of Nixon; and twelve grandchildren.
