She was born on March 22, 1921 in Battle Creek, MI, the daughter of Harry C. and Ivy F. (Green) Woods.
She had worked for Mason General Hospital and then retired from Sparrow Hospital in 1984.
Vivian had lived in the area most of her life. She liked to sew, crochet, camp, cook , and can.
On March 7, 1938 she married Harold W. Lantis and he preceded her in death in June of 1993.
Surviving were four children, Robert (Sally) Lantis of Stockbridge, Barbara (Edward) Huyghe of Jackson, Ralph Lantis of Stockbridge, and daughter-in-law, Edna Lantis of Bay, AR. Also surviving were 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers, four sisters, one son, William Lantis, and one granddaughter, Penny Crandall.
