Casey Elizabeth Wood, age 15, of Fort Mill, SC. died Sunday, November 30, 2008, at her home.
Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Unity Cemetery. The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, with Father John Giuliani, C.O. officiating.
Born in Orlando, Fla. January 25, 1993, Casey was a daughter of Mary Elizabeth Casey McClane and Jeffery Dozier Wood. She was a sophomore at Nation Ford High School, where she was a member of the Marching Band and played the French horn. Casey was a member of the Beta Club, the Travel Club and the Environmental Club.
Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Mary and Mark McClane of Fort Mill, S.C.; her father and stepmother, Jeffery and Amy Wood of Orlando, Fla.; two brothers, Nolan Wood and Devon McClane, both of Fort Mill, S.C.; two sisters, Jessica McClane of Fort Mill, S.C. and Emma Claire Wood, of Orlando, Fla.; maternal grandparents, John and Noleen Casey of Athens, Ga.; paternal grandparents, Larry and Gail Wood of Milton, Fla.; and paternal great-grandparents, Claud and Stella Wood of Spartanburg, S.C.
