CONWAY - William Andrew Hardee, 69, farmer of the Bayboro section of Horry County, died at his home at 6 p.m. Thursday after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Cherry Hill Baptist Church by the Rev. Emmett Tyler. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Hardee was born in the Allsbrook section of Horry County, a son of the late Mrs. Eliza Hardee. He was a member of Cherry Hill Baptist Church and farmed most of his life in the Allsbrook section.
Mr. Hardee was twice married and surviving his first marriage to the late Mrs. Mary Ann Smith Hardee, who died in 1922, are one son, Jesse Hardee of Conway; and six daughters, Mrs. Iran (Ronnie) Cox of Longs, Mrs. Mantha Tyler of Conway, Mrs. Truman (Maude) Turner of Route 1, Marion, Mrs. B. E. (Estetene) Anderson of Route 1, Conway, Mrs. Thornie (Francis) Cartrette of Route 2, Aynor, and Mrs. Furman (Inez) Todd of Route 4, Loris.
