PANAMA CITY, Fla.--Dr. W. Dwain Norwood, 76, of Panama City, formerly of Hardin, Ky., died Saturday at a nursing facility in Panama City.

Dr. Norwood was a chiropractor in Panama City for 51 years, operating the Norwood Chiropractic Clinic. He was a member of the American and Florida chiropractic associations and a member and deacon of St. Andrew's Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

He was listed in the Who's Who of America, the International Registry of Who's Who and the Cambridge Who's Who Registry of Business Leaders. He also wrote and published a book, "The Coming Revolution."

Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Bonnie Norwood; two daughters, Suzanne Siebold of Philadelphia, and Teresa McNally of Richmond, Va.; one brother, Wilburn Norwood of Benton, Ky.; one nephew; and 4 grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m today at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home. The Revs. Henry Hazzard and Dewey Davidson will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
