Kendall Frank Wilson "Kenny", longtime reporter for The Philadelphia Tribune, died at his home in West Philadelphia, PA. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his profession, with many in the industry referring to him as a "legend." He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. He was a graduate of Virginia State University, Petersburg, VA, class of 1957.

Kendall was an English major at VSU and was active in the following campus activities: boxing Team, Variety Club, English Club, Spanish Club, Tutoring Committee, Omega Choraliers, Intramural Sports, Statesman Staff, SCA and Trojan Yearbook Staff. He was listed in "Who's Who in American Universities and Colleges" and a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.

A funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 22, 2008 at the Francis Funeral Home, 5201 Whitby Avenue, Philadelphia, PA. Published in the Philadelphia Inquirer & Philadelphia Daily News from 11/19/2008- 11/20/2008
