Funeral services for A. F. Starnes, 94, a retired farmer, who died at his home near Sikes, April 7, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Hebron Baptist Church.

Rev. Lavelle Crain officiated. Burial was in the Adams Cemetery.

Survivors include his widow; five sons, Alford Starnes of Columbia, Ed Starnes of Winnfield, Vernon Starnes of Grayson, and Clay and Clayton Starnes of Sikes; two daughters, Mrs. J. H. Newsom of Kelly and Mrs. J. J. Jones of Bentley; 20 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
