William Sumpter Brown, C.S.A., served in Co. "K' 7th Georgia Regiment Infantry. He was honorably discharged on Jan. 31, 1864.

To my knowledge, there is no C.S.A. marker in the cemetery.

He was a Mason and Justice of the Peace for many years and gave much to the community.
