Mary Ellen Eoff was the daughter of Marion Calloway Eoff and his first wife, Mary Eliza Bradford. Mary Ellen had two older brothers, Lloyd Hilery Eoff and William Henry Eoff. Her mother died in 1895. Through her father's subsequent marriage to Margaret Rainwater, she was half-sister to J C Roy Eoff. Her father's third marriage to Lutishia McGee produced half-brothers and sister James Mitchell Eoff, Lewis Bolden Eoff, Guy Hulan Eoff, Deborah Gladys Eoff and Jessie Ray Eoff. Mary Ellen died in her first year. She and her mother are buried in Bradford Cemetery in Van Buren County, Arkansas.
