She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ronald Johnstone; two daughters, Teresa Curtis and Gay Edge of Winchester; two sons, Eddie Hatton (Julie) of Lexington and John Johnstone of Winchester; one stepdaughter, Mary Beth Johnstone of Lexington; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was the daughter of the late Lando and Hazel Lutes King of Campton. She is also survived by three sisters Mila Land (Ted), Shirley Lawson (Rocky), Pat Spencer (James) all of Campton; and three brothers, Daniel King (Freda) of Hazard; Winford King of Fairfield, Ohio, and Rondel King of Bowling Green.
She was retired from Blue Grass Army Depot and was a former employee of the Clark County Board of Education. She loved working in her flower garden and going to yard sales. She was dearly loved and respected by her family and friends who will truly miss her.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Scobee Funeral Home by the Rev. Pat Finley and the Rev. Lee Cruse. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.
