Anna ( Ane) Olsen Nielsen was the daughter of Nils Olson and Elna Nilsdotter. She was born in Sweden She was a weaver by trade and went to Copenhagen, Denmark to learn that trade. She was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints January 12, 1859 in Copenhagen. She left Liverpool April 30, 1863 and arrived in New York, then took the train to Florence Nebraska. She arrived in Utah as a pioneer in 1863 by wagon. She and Thomas Ephraim Daniels were married 4 June 1864 in The Endowment House. They had three children: Willie, who died in 1865 an infant, Annie Marie who died in 1868 an infant and Amy, born in 1869. Annie used her skills of weaving to make her living. An example of her weaving and a salt dish are in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum in Payson. She had her marriage "cancelled" March 8th 1875.
