Glen was the son of James Edward Mershon & Elizabeth "Lizzie" Cameron. He was born and educated in Chickasaw, Okla. After Edward's death, Lizzie married William "Doc" Lemaster. Glen married Helen Louise Kennerly in Oklahoma. He served in World War I. After the war, he worked in the oil industry, spending many years in Midland, Texas. He and Helen retired to Lake Whitney in Bosque County, where he died of a heart attach after a seizure. They had no children.
