HAZEL, Ky. β Ruth E. Knight, 89, of Hazel died Thursday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
She was a member of Hazel Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, David Knight of Hempstead, Texas; one daughter, Jimmie Garland of Hazel; one brother; one sister; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Knight; one daughter, Jeritza Guthrie; one grandson; and six brothers and sisters. Her parents were Easter and Sue Barton.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Miller Funeral Home in Hazel. Burial will be at Hazel Cemetery.
Visitation was held on Saturday at the funeral home.
