HOTCHKISS - Elizabeth Stewart, age 88, of Hotchkiss, Colo., passed away Friday, Aug. 3, 2007 at her residence in Hotchkiss. Survivors include a son, Jess Anthony of Monahans, Texas; four daughters: Shirley Walter of Hotchkiss, June Stewart of Little Rock, Ark., Celia Stewart of New York, N.Y., Florence Miller of Fruita; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
An open house and celebration of life will be held Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007 from 6 to 9 p.m. at 334 W. Hotchkiss Ave. in Hotchkiss, Colo.Memorial contributions can be made to: Hotchkiss Fine Arts Association, P.O. Box 398, Hotchkiss, CO 81419 or Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado.
Arrangements are under the direction of Taylor Funeral Service.
